Action free firewood for socially jeopardized families of Palilula Municipality showed the real situation of Palilula, showed the life conditions of one part of Palilula population. The president of Municipal Assembly Milan Djurdjevic visited Lalinac village and after the proposal of Citizens Council visited households of Dragoslav Stojanovic and Nebojsa Petrovic. To these households Palilula provided each one three meters of firewood.

Dragoslav Stanojevic, Lalinac village, 54, lives with his wife Zorica, 57. They have two daughters. Elder is married and younger,22, lives with them. No one in the family works and they do not have any incomes. These days electricity and water are also cut off in this household. They do not have any land.

Nebojsa Petrovic, 51, at the moment in Clinical Center Belgrade where heart operation was performed, got three bypasses. His heart is 72% damaged, so he lives with 28% of heart work. He is diabetic; he is missing the toes of both feet. He lives with his wife Slavica, 7. They have three children. Two daughters are married and the youngest Milica lives with her parents and help them in their household. They do not have any income and do not have any land. They live in one house made of soil material.

After the realization of the project `Strengthening capacities for the improvement of life for socially venerable groups` from Exchange 3 programme, successfully realized by Palilula municipality during 2010 and 2011, the government of Municipality announced that within their authorizations they will continue to take care of the people in need. Free firewood for 50 families, that were not taken into account with any other form of social help. Every household from this list is given 3 meters of wood. The value of this help is about 700 000 dinars. This is only a part of activity of the support to the most jeopardized population that is being realized with great efforts of Palilula Municipality.
